Hiking is a popular thing to do around Paasch Lake; Tamarack View Trail is a nice local trail, and Mud Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pike River, and do visit Barber Pond, it's a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail, and a good nearby hotel is Radisson Hotel &       Conference Center Kenosha. If you come at the right time of year, Root River offers some good whitewater, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Wilmot mountain is relatively near. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff right next door to Paasch Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Racine here, and why not camp at Fox River Recreation since you're here at Paasch Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Volo Bog Interpretive Trail offers hiking                  at its best, and if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a pleasant choice. Summer at Paasch Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows at Paasch Lake through the wintertime frequently drop into the 0's. A golf course right next door to Paasch Lake is Spring Valley Country Club, and Happy Acres Kamp Ground is a wonderful local campground. There's some interesting stuff to spot at Lake Shangri La Dam in the neighborhood of Paasch Lake; Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) is a magnificent local ski area. Paasch Lake gets a common amount of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
