Wisconsin has many beautiful lakes and Oxbow Pond is one of them. All through the days of summer at Oxbow Pond highs are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's with temperatures at Oxbow Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. Camping is available at Russell Park Campground; it's a great idea to stop by Hay Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay

If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Oxbow Pond. A nice nearby hotel is Best Western Arrowhead Lodge & Suites, and if you come at the right time of year, Morrison Creek offers some delightful whitewater. is February. There's great hiking along the Silver Mound Trail.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Dry Land Flowage; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Black River. If you came
for an overnight stay Wazee County Park is a wonderful location to camp, and not far from Oxbow Pond you'll come across Funmaker Flowage which is a lovely lake.
