Oxbow Pond is a good place of typical rainfall; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is typically the driest month. You completely have to love Oxbow Pond. There's some flowing water nearby, Hay Creek is a stream you can       visit while here. Lakes? Sure, Funmaker Flowage is in close proximity. If you came to camp Wazee County Park is a great place to do that. For the period of the summertime months, highs usually are in the 80's at Oxbow Pond; the nighttime is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Oxbow Pond fall into the-10's. Paddling on Morrison Creek                  is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Oxbow Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Russell Park Campground is a splendid spot for that.
