The beauty of Oxbow Pond is reason enough to stop by. So much entertaining stuff to do at Oxbow Pond, so little time. A perfect close by hotel is Black River Falls Days Inn, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Arrowhead Lodge & Suites is a tremendous choice. A tremendous spot for whitewater paddling near Oxbow Pond is Morrison Creek. There's so much to do here at Oxbow Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Arbutus Campground East and West is a fine

| | place for that. From Oxbow Pond you get a good sight of Duck Hill; going for a hike on the Silver Mound Trail is always a splendid adventure.
The amount of rain that falls at Oxbow Pond is close to the national average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Black River is a delightful whitewater spot near Oxbow Pond, and hey, Hay Creek is a nice local stream.

The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Oxbow Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 10's, and overnight lows at Oxbow Pond during the winter frequently
drop into the-10's. You could also visit Dry Land Flowage since you're here at Oxbow Pond; it's close by. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Oxbow Pond has to offer, you can camp at Russell Park Campground.
