Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Oxbow Lake fall into the-10's. From a rain point of view Oxbow Lake is a rather normal location; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with       the least moisture. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Indianhead is in the neighborhood of Oxbow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Image Lake is a lake that's close to Oxbow Lake; Presque Isle is a great whitewater spot nearby. Why not camp at Birch Lake Resort and Campground if you're here at Oxbow Lake; if you need a site to stay Best Western Concord Inn is                  a tremendous choice. And if that's not enough there's lots more enjoyable stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Minocqua is a splendid location to spend a night or two, and Presque Isle Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range.
