There's so much to do here at Oxbo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Soo Lake Resort is a glorious spot for that. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. Oxbo Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Butternut Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Black Lake Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel       - Phillips, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Chippewa River - East Fork. While you're here at Oxbo Lake you can take a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Park Falls is a good site to spend a night or two. For the period of the warm months here at Oxbo Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter                  highs are typically in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Oxbo Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. Oxbo Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls all through August, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
