From a rainfall point of view Lake Osborn is a quite typical site; all through the month of September you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. Through the warm days of summer here at Lake Osborn, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Lake Osborn dipping       down into the-10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Marengo River, and do stop by Deer Lake, it's a striking lake. So many amusing things to do at Lake Osborn, so little time. There's pleasant hiking along the North Country Trail. The Virgin Pine Trail offers hiking at its best, and a pleasant place to camp here at Lake Osborn is Two Lakes Campground. Camping at Lake Namakagon Campgrounds                  is always a nice experience; Junek's Bay Cabins is a splendid place to get some rest.
