For the duration of the summer months, highs typically are in the 80's at Onland Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Onland Lake temperatures drop       to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Little Wolf River is a pleasant whitewater spot in close proximity to Onland Lake, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel is a tremendous choice. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Onland Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Foxfire. If you're visiting Onland Lake from Stevens Point, you won't be the only one; a pleasant site to camp here at Onland Lake is                  Wild West Campground. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Embarrass River - South Branch, and if you get bored of Onland Lake you could also stop at close by Rinehart Lake.
