If you came for an overnight stay Tyman's Motel and Campground is a glorious place to camp, and there are some great whitewater spots on Totogatic River. One Mile Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave One Mile Lake without first paying a visit to Bergen Springs, and camping at One Mile Lake is wonderful       fun, Charlie Brown's Campground is a wonderful local campground. Take a side trip to Eau Claire River, and enjoy a round of golf at Fire Hill Golf Club. There are other places here than One Mile Lake, for example Eau Claire River Flowage 33; if you come at the right time of year, Eau Claire River offers some magnificent whitewater. During the summertime at One Mile Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. All through the winter this                  place gets highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at One Mile Lake temperatures fall to the-10's. You clearly should love One Mile Lake.
