Old Abe Lake is always a pleasure to visit. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River, and Old Abe Lake is right by the Hay Meadow Trail. Any time is a delightful time at Old Abe Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Old Abe Lake are in the 0's. The amount of rain that falls at Old Abe Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one
with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Glen Loch Motel is a brilliant choice; hiking along the Deer Fly Trail is magnificent fun.
