Camping is available at Arbutus Campground East and West; get yourself into a kayak and hit Halls Creek.       There's just no way someone can get bored here at Oakwood Lake. Best Western Arrowhead Lodge & Suites is a great location to get some rest; a stunning lake like Trow Lake 70 is a delightful place to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Black River offers some glorious whitewater, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Silver Mound Trail. You can take a little visit to Merillan Mills Dam since                  you're here at Oakwood Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Bunkhouse Retreat Atv Park is a great spot to camp. Summer at Oakwood Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's; night lows in the-10's for Oakwood Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Oakwood Lake is close to the national average; September is when you get the most rain here while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
