If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Turtle River, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Rainbow Falls Trail. So many cool things to do in the Gogebic Range, not enough time. What would winter be without some skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blackjack if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm       beds await you at Americinn - Ironwood, Mi, and Oak Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. Visit Virgin Creek if you're here at Oak Lake; whitewater paddling is great on Black River. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Lakes are fine; Virgin Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Oak Lake, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Ironwood is a perfect                  choice.
