Johnson Springs is always fun to check out; after a long day outdoors Junek's Bay Cabins is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. Throughout the days of summer here at Nymphia Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Nymphia Lake temperatures plunge       to the-10's. Don't leave Nymphia Lake without first going for a hike along the Virgin Pine Trail. There's pleasant hiking along the Pigeon Lake Trail, and if you came to camp Perch Lake Campground is a good place to do that. From a rainfall point of view Nymphia Lake is a rather normal spot; the month with most of the rain is September, and February on the other hand is the driest. Paddling on Marengo River is so much fun; why not visit nearby Jader Creek                  since you're here at Nymphia Lake. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Nymphia Lake. Good hiking is available along the North Country Trail; if you're here, you could also explore beautiful Anodanta Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
