You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area close to Northfield Lake has to offer. At Beaver Creek Dam in close proximity to Northfield Lake there are some interesting things to see, and Northfield Lake is right by the Hamilton Falls Snowmobile Trail. You'll locate a pretty lake called Northfield Lake 1 near Northfield Lake, and Eau Claire River has a great whitewater       paddling spot nearby. The yearly precipitation here at Northfield Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. SUPER 8 MOTEL - OSSEO is a fine site to get some rest; camping is available at Osseo Camping Resort. After a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn Osseo is a good site to spend a night or two; a pleasant spot to camp here at Northfield Lake is Triple R Resort. This lake is so wonderful.                  Hiking along the Silver Mound Trail is wonderful fun, and May Coulee is also a wonderful spot to discover. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Northfield Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's.
