You could also visit Apple River Flowage 134 if you're here at North Twin Lake; it's close by, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Apple River. So much fun stuff in the vicinity of North Twin Lake, completely remarkable. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Trollhaugen, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on St. Croix       River. If you came for an overnight stay Cast-a-way Trailer Park is a good location to camp. For you golfers we recommend close by Amery Golf Club, and if you need a site to stay Americinn - New Richmond, Wi is a magnificent choice. After a long day outdoors Riverfront Inn New Richmond is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two; there's some flowing water nearby, Beaver Brook is a stream you can pop by while here. The yearly rainfall here at North Twin Lake                  is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Saint Croix National Scenic River is one of the destinations in the vicinity of North Twin Lake that are glorious to go to, and camping is available at Port Valhalla Campground.
