North Lake is a good site of common rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. For the duration of the summer at North Lake highs are regularly in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at North Lake through the wintertime usually sink into       the-10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at North Lake. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Chetek is a splendid choice, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail. On a good day at North Lake you can take a hike along the Hardwood Trail, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Lost Mans Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Pickerel Lakes is a great lake close to North Lake;                  the skiing at Christie Mountain is great. North Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lured In Lodge & Campground is a fine local campground, and the Serley Camp Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby.
