The Serley Camp Trail is a glorious hiking trail next to North Lake; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Rice Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day at North Lake you can take a hike along the Hardwood Trail, and Super 8 Motel - Chetek is a great site to get some rest. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to North Lake called the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail, and why       not camp at Lured In Lodge & Campground if you're here at North Lake. North Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Christie Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff, and if you came for an overnight stay Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is a fine location to camp. For the duration of the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 80's at North                  Lake while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's.
