Wisconsin has many beautiful lakes and Lake Nona is one of them. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the area near Lake Nona has to offer. Go for a hike on the Lauterman Trail, and a day on the slopes of Brule Mountain is just what you need. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Nona has to offer, you can camp at Chipmunk Rapids Campground, and why not a little side journey to Morgan Creek. This lake is so wonderful. you adrenaline rush seekers; going for a hike on the Dendro Eco Trail is always a nice adventure. Lake Nona gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest
of the months is February. Looking for something close to Lake Nona? Nelligan Pond is close by, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Popple River.
