What would winter be without some skiing at Whitecap Mountain; camping at Fishtrap Campground is always a pleasant experience. Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a good place to get some rest; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail. Very wonderful water scenery is available at Flambeau Reservoir WP268 Dam right next door to Lake Nine, and Lake Nine

This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Flambeau
River - North Fork. Be careful coming to Lake Nine, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Flambeau River - South Fork is a good whitewater spot next to Lake Nine. Lakes? Sure, Flambeau Flowage 666 is close at hand.
