A lake nearby is Patterson Lake. There's so much to do here at Newman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Smith River Campground is a tremendous site for that. So much cool stuff to do here at Newman Lake, too great to be true. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Flambeau River - North Fork, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Newman Springs Ski Trail. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that       you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flambeau River - South Fork; if you came to camp Fishtrap Campground is a nice site to do that. A common amount of rain falls here at Newman Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. If you need a site to stay Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice; Nettie B Lake is a nearby lake that you                  could take a look at. At Newman Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
