On a nice day at Nelligan Pond you can take a hike along the Eds Lake Trail System; there are some great whitewater spots on Peshtigo River. Nelligan Pond gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; during the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. Brule Mountain has splendid slopes and a friendly staff, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Dendro Eco Trail. This       lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Lake Nona right next door to Nelligan Pond, it's a picturesque lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Nelligan Pond, so little time. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Iron River, Mi; Nelligan Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Laura-Gordon Lakes Campground is a splendid local campground. If you need a spot to stay Iron Inn Motel is a great choice, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike                  along the Lauterman Trail. Summertime highs at Nelligan Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Nelligan Pond dip into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a brilliant little trip to Hanson Creek, and Ski Brule is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood.
