Lakes are great; Cranberry Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Namekagon Lake. The North Country Trail is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Namekagon Lake, and you can       stay the night at Lake Namakagon Campgrounds. Marengo River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and nearby you locate the Virgin Pine Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Namekagon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Boulder Lodge Resort is a delightful location for that, and an afternoon playing golf at Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course                  is always a bliss. For the period of the months of summer at Namekagon Lake highs are mostly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's while Namekagon Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. On a delightful day at Namekagon Lake you can take a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Chippewa River - West Fork.
