in the neighborhood of Namekagon 41 Reservoir will keep you coming back time and again. There's great hiking along the North Country Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Chippewa
River - West Fork. The Virgin Pine Trail offers hiking at its best, and fine hiking is available along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail. There's whitewater on Marengo River for all you adrenaline people, and Namekagon 41 Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Two Lakes Campground is a great local campground.
