There's so much to do here at Myrtle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hunter Lake Paradise Campground is a tremendous place for that. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Myrtle Lake; August is the wettest       month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. Any time is a delightful time at Myrtle Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Stay the night at Buckatabon Lodge and Lighthouse, and a round of golf at nearby Gateway Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time. After a long day outdoors Best Western Derby Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling                  on Ontonagon River. All through the long summer days here at Myrtle Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's.
