A great nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Park Falls, and a delightful site to camp here at Musser Lake is Roll-in-point. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Musser Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Flambeau River - South Fork, and if you need a location to stay Super       8 Motel - Phillips is a glorious choice. The annual rainfall here at Musser Lake is about average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Throughout the summer months at Musser Lake highs are generally in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are frequently in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Musser Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.                  Don't leave Musser Lake without first going for a hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail, and do check out Musser Lake 83, it's a gorgeous lake. While you're here at Musser Lake, you could also stop at delightful Lost Lake.
