     This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. Just can't get enough of the Gogebic Range. You're probably keen on lakes, Buffalo Lake is one of those nearby; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brunsweiler River. On a delightful day at Muskie Springs Lake you can take a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, and almost certainly you're looking for close by  
   lakes? Sure, Hadley Lake is just a very short distance away.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Muskie Springs Lake you can take a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail; a delightful nearby hotel is Best Western Lake Superior Lodge. And if that's not enough there's a load more enjoyable things to do in the Gogebic Range. At Muskie Springs Lake through the summertime highs are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures
 
               sink down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Muskie Springs Lake dip into the-10's.
Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Black Lake Trail, and camping at Day Lake Campground is always a perfect experience. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area in the neighborhood of Muskie Springs Lake has to offer. Camping is available at Chippewa River Campground, and Marengo River is a great whitewater spot nearby. Muskie Springs Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail

The trail is called the Tuscobia State Trail.  It runs 74 miles from Rice Lake to Park Falls, Wisconsin.  The Trail crosses through Barron, Sawyer and Price Counties.  This is a multi-use trail on the old railroad grade of the Omaha Railroad.  There are lots of things to do and places to stop along the trail.  There is now camping available at several points along the trail including Radisson, and Ojibwa.  At Winter, the last remaining railroad depot, built in 1905, will be historically restored outside and inside, it will house a visitor center, there will be trailhead parking, historical displays, and picnic areas.  The restoration is slated for completion in 2011.  ...
