Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and going for a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the natural       beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Beaver Lake is a lake that's right next door to Murphy Lake, and you can run the rapids of Bad River. At Murphy Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer                  nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Murphy Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Murphy Lake; August is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
