Wisconsin has many beautiful lakes and Murphy Lake is one of them. Brownstone Falls is a picturesque place to explore while you're at Murphy Lake, and if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Mellen Country Club. What a place this is for outdoors people. Devils Creek is a nice local stream, and camping is available at Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. | | Lake you can take a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Ashland Super 8 Motel.
This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Lake is a glorious lake in close proximity to Murphy Lake, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Bad River.
