It's always fun to stop by Mud Lake. Comfort Suites Foxfire is a great place to get some rest; while you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Foxfire Golf Club. | | highs commonly are in the 80's at Mud Lake while night lows are regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mud Lake are in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is good on Little Wolf River; camping is available at Deerhaven Campground. From a rainfall point of view Mud Lake is a relatively typical site; through the month of September you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
