After a long day outdoors Village Inn Motel is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Hartman Creek State Park. Mud Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. You could also stop by Crystal Lake while you're here at Mud Lake; it's nearby; some nearby water includes Radley Creek.       High temperatures at Mud Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Mud Lake through the winter regularly fall into the 0's. Just can't get enough of Mud Lake. A glorious location for whitewater paddling next to Mud Lake is Little Wolf River; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Foxfire. This lake is so wonderful. Foxfire Golf Club is                  a golf course close to Mud Lake.
