Mud Lake is a nice lake to visit. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do in the vicinity of Mud Lake. Chippewa Campground is a delightful campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Black River next to Mud Lake, and you'll hit upon a scenic lake called Anderson Lake.
