North Twin Lake Campground is a nice campground here; Black River Golf Club is a great golf course nearby. High temperatures at Mud Lake during the warm months are in the 80's. There's glorious hiking along the Ice Age Trail, and a splendid close by hotel is Sleep Inn Abbotsford. Drift down the rapids of Jump River - South Fork in a kayak, and if you need a place to stay Americinn - Medford, Wi is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Kathryn Lake Campground is a good site to camp, and since you're here, you could also have a look at pretty Horten Lake.
