Mud Lake is a nice lake to visit. If you need a site to stay Pinewood Cottages is a fine choice, and it's a brilliant idea to visit Pickerel Creek. After a long day outdoors Washington Resort Cottages is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two, and Mud Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Brown's Country Campsite is a great local campground. Mud Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain;
