Mud Lake is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Smith River Campground is a splendid site to camp nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Phillips. An average amount of rainfall falls at Mud Lake; August is when you get the most rain here while February       is ordinarily the driest month. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Mud Lake has it all. Stay the night at Fishtrap Campground. Lakes are tremendous; Pond Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Mud Lake. While you're here at Mud Lake you can take a hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Flambeau River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the summertime months, highs typically are in the 70's at Mud Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's.
