At Mud Lake during the summer highs are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 10's, and night lows in the-10's for Mud Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Mud Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flambeau River - South Fork.       Soo Lake Resort is a great local campground, as expected you could also check out Price Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a fine little trip to Beaver Creek, and Jackson Springs is a nice local attraction. Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a great spot to get some rest, and if you've had enough of Mud Lake, Bass Lake is close by.
