Mud Lake is a good place of normal rain; August is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Mud Lake. There's whitewater on Flambeau River - South Fork for all you thrill seekers. Lakes are good; Bass Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Mud Lake. Mud Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day       at, Archer's Trucking is a fine local campground, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a nice place to spend a night or two. Summertime at Mud Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mud Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. A great nearby hotel is Park Falls Super 8 Motel,                  and Jackson Springs is an inspiring location to check out while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
