Scout Lake is a lake in close proximity, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Honey Creek. A nice close by hotel is Cafe' At Hospitality Inn, and if you came for an overnight stay Oak Creek Estates is a splendid location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Wilmot mountain has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and the good people of Racine like to hang out nearby. During the long summer days at Mud Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Mud Lake. | |
