High temperatures at Mud Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Mud Lake is fine fun, Lake Arrowhead Campground is a fine local campground, and if you came for an overnight stay Call Of The wild       Campground is a nice place to camp. Gotta ski! Cascade Mountain is a magnificent place to do that, and a fine close by hotel is Ellisons Gray Lion Inn. Mud Lake is a good site of typical rain; September is the month that gets the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
