Mud Lake is a lake worth visiting. From a rain point of view Mud Lake is a quite normal spot; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. O'Keefe Creek is a tremendous local stream, and camping at Wagon wheel Campground is always a good experience. Summertime highs at Mud Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 20's,

If you came to camp Lake Mason Campground is a glorious location to do that; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Cascade Mountain is reasonably near. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Christmas Mountain is magnificent, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Resort Hotel & Conference Center is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Mud Lake, you can go for a hike along the Grottos Trail, and McCall Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
