Mud Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Inns-Iron Mountain; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pike River - South Branch. Pike River - North Branch is a pleasant whitewater spot near Mud Lake, and camping at Tranquil Vista Campgrounds is always a perfect experience. Throughout the long summer days at Mud Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. There's just no way someone can get bored here
at Mud Lake. Cole Creek flows through this neighborhood, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Christian Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A short spree to Bull Falls is always worthwhile. Camping is available at Amberg Campgrounds and Bar, and delightful skiing awaits you at Norway Mountain.
