The beauty of Mud Lake attracts many people from all around. Through the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Mud Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 20's while Mud Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Wittenberg is a great location to get some rest, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Bohnes

| | Lake. Stay the night at Antigo Lake RV Park, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Eau Claire River. The annual rainfall here at Mud Lake is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. After a long day outdoors Antigo Super 8 Motel is a fine site to spend a night or two, and Mud Lake is a brilliant place to camp, Mayflower Lake Campgrounds is a brilliant place.
