It's always fun to stop by Mud Lake. Mud Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fox River Recreation is a great local campground; there are other places here than Mud Lake, for example Cross Lake. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A common amount of rain falls here at Mud Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.

| | right next door to Mud Lake, and skiing at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Shangri La Dam has nice water scenery and it's close to Mud Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. Good hiking is available along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail, and a pleasant site to camp here at Mud Lake is Happy Acres Kamp Ground.

Lake you can play some golf at Bristol Oaks Country Club, and you can go for a hike on the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail. High temperatures at Mud Lake through the warm months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the
60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mud Lake are in the 0's. If you need a spot to stay Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Kenosha is a splendid choice; going for a hike on the
Tamarack View Trail is always a nice adventure.
You clearly should like Mud Lake. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Root River, and Mud Lake is not
far at all from Racine. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Wilmot mountain while you're here. Lakes? Sure, Cross Lake is nearby.
