Mud Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Richardson Lake Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a tremendous place to get some rest. of Mud Lake you could also stop by nearby Bogbrook Lake. Go for a hike on the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Wolf River offers some glorious whitewater.
Going for a hike on the Eds Lake Trail System is always a splendid adventure, and Deer Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.

Boulder Lake Lodge Resort is 80 acres located in the Nicolet National Forest on spring fed Boulder Lake. The national forest forms the property line to the north and Boulder Lake is the property line on the south. We have every outdoor sport you can think of from motorized water sports to snowmobiling. There is fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and hunting in the adjecent national forest. At the end of the days activity or just for a mid-afternoon drink, you can stop by for a cold one and some good conversation at the Lodge. The Lodge is a central gathering point with a full liquor licence. Our RV sites are being upgraded all the time. We installed a new dump station in 2005. There are 20 sites with electric only.
