Mud Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Through the warmest time of the year at Mud Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Mud Lake sink into the-10's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Dendro Eco Trail; a wonderful spot to camp here at

| | Mud Lake is Laura-Gordon Lakes Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites; you can never get enough of the nice skiing at Ski Brule.

Lauterman Trail. Mud Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Big Joe Campground is a wonderful local campground; Peshtigo River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by.
Hiking along the Eds Lake Trail
System is nice fun; skiing at Brule Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. Mud Lake is a good location of typical rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September; February on the other hand is the driest.
