It's always fun to stop by Mud Lake. Mud Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is September while February is frequently the driest month. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Lake; Dendro Eco Trail is a great local trail. This place, Mud Lake, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Mud Lake is right by the Eds Lake Trail System, and a perfect place for whitewater paddling is Popple River.

| | Trail offers hiking at its best; Brule Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Peshtigo River is a fine whitewater spot near Mud Lake, and Ski Brule is a very popular ski area nearby. Throughout the summer highs here at Mud Lake reach the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Mud Lake temperatures descend to the-10's.
