The yearly rainfall here at Mud Lake is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Mud Lake. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Spirit Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Mud Lake is Amnicon Acres Campground; Reichuster Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Get yourself       into a kayak and hit St. Croix River, and swing by Bear Creek it's a great spot to stop at. Soar down the rapids of Black River in a kayak; after a long day outdoors Barker's Island Inn & Conference Center Galley Restaurant & Lounge is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Why not camp at Amnicon Falls State Park if you're here at Mud Lake, and Superior Super 8 Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest. During the months of summer at Mud Lake temperatures                  are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's.
