This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Lake you ought to pop by Sand Point; obviously, this is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes, Mackaysee Lake is a lake close at hand. Mud Lake is a good site of normal precipitation; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around       here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Mud Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mud Lake. Mud Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, J W Wells State Park is a good local campground.
