After a long day outdoors Glidden Lodge Beach Resort is a perfect place to spend a night or two; Mud Lake is a glorious site to camp, Herb's Horses is a glorious site. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Mud Lake has it all. Go for a hike on the Ahnapee State Trail. Mud Lake gets a typical amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month       with the least moisture. You'll discover a pretty lake called Dunes Lake near Mud Lake; a journey to Lilly Bay is always a wonderful idea. For the duration of the long summer days, highs usually are in the 80's at Mud Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's.
