Swamps can be such exciting sites, visit Pike Slough while you're here at Mud Lake, and if you're here, you could visit German Creek. Through the summertime highs here at Mud Lake get into the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Mud Lake temperatures fall to the-10's. If you came for an overnight       stay Ken's Kampsite is a great place to camp, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Lake; Hardwood Trail is a nice local trail. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. While you're here at Mud Lake you can play some golf at Sunset View Country Club, and dry warm beds await you at Viking Motel. Mud Lake gets a typical amount of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the                  driest. Northern Exposure Resort and Campground is a pleasant campground nearby; unsurprisingly, this is a fine area for folks who like lakes, Pokegama Lake is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably interested in lakes, Prairie Lake is one of those close by, and you must explore Pittmans Point when you're here.
