For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Mud Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. The amount of precipitation that falls at Mud Lake is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile       is the driest month. Viking Motel is a perfect spot to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Six Lakes Resort is a fine location to camp. Lakes are great; Bailey Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Mud Lake, and some nearby water includes Chetek River. Sioux Creek Golf Course is a golf course in the neighborhood of Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
