In Wisconsin there are many beautiful lakes, Mud Lake is one of them. High temperatures at Mud Lake through the summertime months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mud Lake. Camping at Day Lake Campground is always a pleasant experience, and you can go for a hike on the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. But wait, there's

| | more enjoyable things to do in the Gogebic Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Lake; North Country Trail is a perfect local trail.
An average amount of rainfall falls at Mud Lake; the month with most of the rain is August; February is when it's the driest. Hell Hole Creek is close to Mud Lake and is always a delight to stop by, and camping is available at Chippewa River Campground. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Mud Lake is peerless! | |

Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Brunsweiler River, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Holiday House.
This lake is so wonderful. Ashland Super 8 Motel is a great place to get
some rest; there's whitewater on Marengo River for all you adrenaline kick people. Having a good time in the Gogebic Range is uncomplicated. This is a wonderful neighborhood for people who like lakes. Beaver Lake is a lake in the
neighborhood, and pleasant hiking is available along the Black Lake Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range.
