Mud Lake is a nice lake to visit. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Gogebic Range is unbeatable! If you're here at Mud Lake, you could pop by Hell Hole Creek, and Chippewa River Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Holiday House is a delightful place to get some rest, and there's wonderful hiking along the Black Lake Trail. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in

| | the Gogebic Range. Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is a very splendid place to take a look at in the neighborhood of Mud Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Lake; North Country Trail is a good local trail.
A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Mud Lake; the month with most of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Brunsweiler River, and obviously, this is a wonderful | |

neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Beaver Lake is a lake nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area right next door to Mud
Lake has to offer. Why not camp at Day Lake Campground since you're here at Mud Lake, and if you need a site to stay Ashland Super 8 Motel is a great choice. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend
Marengo River, and pleasant hiking is available along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. During the days of summer at Mud Lake highs are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout
the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake dip into the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Seitz Lake.
