Wisconsin has many beautiful lakes and Mud Lake is one of them. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Mud Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Gogebic Range is unbeatable! Dry warm beds await you at Junek's Bay Cabins, and the Great Divide Snowmobile
Trail is a good hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Chippewa River Campground is a great local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Brunsweiler River.
If you came to camp Day Lake Campground is a nice location to do that, and nearby you stumble on the Black Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail.
