If you come at the right time of       year, Embarrass River offers some delightful whitewater; let's not forget South Branch Little Wolf River which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Mountain Lake. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Weiland's Landing. Mountain Lake gets a normal amount of rain; September is when you get                  the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
