From a rain point of view Moss Lake is a quite typical spot; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is frequently the driest month. Do go to Mud Lake in close proximity to Moss Lake, it's a beautiful lake; camping at Family Frontier Campground is always a splendid experience. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Eau Claire River next to Moss Lake, and Moss Lake is not far       at all from Stevens Point. Summertime highs at Moss Lake generally tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and night lows at Moss Lake through the winter commonly sink into the 0's. So many amusing things to do here at Moss Lake, too wonderful to be true. Why not have a look at close by Holt Creek while you're here at Moss Lake. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Little Wolf                  River, and Holiday Inn STEVENS POINT - CONVENTION CTR is a wonderful place to get some rest.
