Morgan Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Morgan Lake get into the 70's; the nighttime is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the       wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Morgan Lake dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Pine River is a brilliant whitewater spot near Morgan Lake, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Dendro Eco Trail. Morgan Lake in fact is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Looking for something near Morgan Lake? Wheeler Lake is close by, and dry warm beds await you at Best                  Western Crandon Inn & Suites. A wonderful site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Morgan Lake is Popple River; if you came to camp Chipmunk Rapids Campground is a good place to do that. Morgan Lake is not the only place close by, Lake Nona is a close by lake, and do take a hike on the Lauterman Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Morgan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Laura-Gordon Lakes Campground is a good site for that.
