Chippewa River - West Fork is a great whitewater spot near Moose Lake, and the Black Lake Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. Ross ' Teal Lake Lodge & Teal Wing Golf Club is a good golf course close by, and if you need a place to stay Americinn Lodge Ladysmith is a pleasant choice. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Goodman Lake is a tremendous lake close to Moose Lake; do pop by Moose River while you're       here at Moose Lake. Through the summer months highs here at Moose Lake get into the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's; nighttime lows through the wintertime for Moose Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Chip Lake next to Moose Lake is a wonderful place to have a look at, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail. Moose Lake                  is great enough to spend more than a day at, Boulder Lodge Resort is a great local campground, and nearby you stumble on the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. A normal amount of rain falls here at Moose Lake; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River - East Fork. There's so much to do here at Moose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chippewa River Campground is a good site for that.
